Does Anyone Recognize This or Know Where it Is?

A nice Canadian just sent me this picture with the name “Albania snaky cliff road” – asking where it is. ย Does anyone recognize it?

Alfred guesses “Logara?” and says “It’s Great!”

Free beer when you get here, if you can tell us where it is!

Well it doesn’t look like Llogara… Although the road from Llogara is steep and a bit snaky too. However, the scenery is completely different. Is the Canadian sure it’s in Albania?
    It is great though!!

    The mystery is solved – it’s in China… ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, this is funny! Is that like Paris, Texas? I was thinking that the little cement guard rails and signs looked a little too crisp for Albania . . . . Too Bad!

Sorry guys, the beer is mine… ๐Ÿ™‚ The road is called Heaven Linking Avenue and it’s in Hunan, China:

It has 99 (!!) turns, symbolizing the 9 palaces of heaven…

Sorry to have lead everyone astray! You’re right, it IS China. (I’m “the canadian” who started this mess) ๐Ÿ™‚
This all started with a site I found offering hiking in Albania:
It’s nice that they promote “tourism in Albania” by using random pictures from elsewhere on Earth…

Welcome to Albania, Troy – where Plagiarism is unknown – or should I say ‘unrecognized.’

No, this road is not in Albania.

This road is in Tianmen, China. ( Or search: “Tianmen road” in google.

It’s not Llogara – I was there a couple of months ago and stopped often, looking back. Llogara has many dizzying hairpins, but none like this… Having spent three weeks criss-crossing Albania by car, I can’t say I ever came across this road…

it’s an Albanian road from Tirana to Elbasan, named “Qafe kerraba”
